I sent the following message to CASINO subscribers this a.m. I repeat it below for any SUSONG lurker's benefit.

CC&GTCC AUGUST 13-15 CONVENTION

I offer the following service to subscribers of CASINO [and where indicated to members of CC&GTCC members only]. [If you are not a member of CC&GTCC, let me know and I will send you information on how to join this very valuable club at minimum cost.] The sale opportunity is in addition to that previously posted.

1. SALE OPPORTUNITY [FOR CC&GTCC MEMBERS & NON MEMBERS]

If you are NOT able to attend the convention, I am willing to take up to SIX casino checks--not tokens--and offer them for sale on your behalf. The restrictions are as follows:

The chips should be NEVADA chips. They must have a value of G or better in the CHIP RACK or if not NEVADA chips, be a rare and desirable chip which you value at $25 or more.

I will sell for you charging a 10% fee all of which will go to the Club. Chips must be sent insured to me at the University address on or before July 28. Sellers should give me a range within which I can deal--a high and a low. Since I must pay a NEVADA State sales tax on all items sold, this charge must be added to the price.

All unsold chips and money realized will be posted for return on or before August 21.

Consignees are responsible for postage and insurance both ways.

2. CHIP BUY SERVICE [FOR CC&GTCC MEMBERS OR NON-MEMBERS]

There are thousands of different chips and tokens waiting to change hands at the show. If you are NOT able to attend, I will be pleased to look for a chip [or chips] you are after and buy it [them] for you with the following conditions:

A. A complete description of the chip [CHIP RACK NUMBER IF KNOWN] and the maximum amount you are willing to pay. E.g. If you want the APPLE ANNIE'S $25 chip from the CLOSED MAIN STREET STATION, you would ask for that chip by description and N6859 number plus the maximum you would be willing to pay--say $100.

B. I will charge a 5% fee, all of which will be donated to the CLUB.

C. You must send me a check in the maximum amount plus 5% for orders under $50 and for orders over $50 you must send me a money order or cashier's check in the maximum amount.

D. Send me an e-mail and follow up with a snail mail request for purchase together with check or money order, if applicable..

E. You must pay postage and insurance for the delivery of the chips.

You will be notified by E-mail on August l7 of the "buy" results and your chip[s]] and/or money will be promptly remitted.

3. AUCTION BID SERVICE [CC&GTCC MEMBERS ONLY]

If you ordered an auction catalogue, you will soon receive a copy. Although you can bid direct, I will be willing to bid for you [AT NO FEE - since there is a buyer's fee charged that goes to the club] subject to the following conditions:

For any item over $10 in bid [and there won't be many items under that sum] I must have cash up front [since I must pay for any item received and that must reach me before July 24.

Successful bidders must pay insurance and postage.

I will not personally bid on any item for which I am asked to act as an agent.

Items will be shipped on or before August 21. In addition, I will notify the successful bidder of the results on or after August 17.

You must notify me by E-mail before July 21 of your intent to ask me to place a bid.
