I have a couple of VW stock certificates, somewhere. Stupack mailed them to locals in the 80's. It was a gimmick to get people to come in. If I remember right they were real but some kind of subsidery corp and really had no par value or a few cents. At one time some local was advertising he would buy all of them. Probably Bob's brother.
There was a big to in the RJ about them and gaming was involved. The shell company was supposed to do big things but of course did nothing. Usual Stupack stuff. Will look for them if anyone wants one. Will trade for chips
