Use of a bulletin board

May I ask for opinions of other readers about private trade transactions between two people being posted on this, or any other board? We often see a posting where "John Doe" offers a chip for trade, and then "John Brown" replies with a return trade offer, and then you suddenly have a long string of postings going back and forth between Doe and Brown. After the initial posting and reply, its just my feeling that this kind of correspondence should be handled via private e-mail. Why? Many other readers sign on to the board at least once daily, to read the messages, chip news, questions, etc. But, I doubt those other readers have any interest in reading which chips that Brown and Doe are trading back and forth to each other. Yet, one almost has to click on the posting to read it, just in case the posting does contain something other than a private trade. I'd simply rather see private trade transactions be handled via private e-mail; and wonder what others might think about that suggestion? Thanks, Don
