Greg, Now I really know what a "Natural Texan" is! I get 22 all the time at the BlackJack table. They don't play BlackJack in Costa Rica either. They play "RUNNY". If you get an ace & a 10 or face card, you get even money if you beat the dealer. If you get 3 7's they pay you 2 or 3 to 1, possibly more. The first time I played in a casino in San Jose, I didn't read the rules too well, & was asked to leave the casino when I called the pit boss to complain. He explained the rules, & they allowed me back in the next day. Little did he know, but I had a pocket full of "ROULETTA" fichas!<g> Roulette is played in a strange way in Costa Rica as well. They have a regular roulette layout where you place your bets. On the wall is a rotating wheel. The dealer or "shooter" has an air rifle which shoots a dart. After all the bets are placed, he shoots the rifle & where ever the dart hits the wheel, that is the point! I saw 2 guys get shot right between the eyes with the dart!<g> This is not a joke, I saw the game played with my own eyes & was not smoking those funny cigarettes.
