Hi Jim; Thanks for your reply to the announcement of my forthcoming catalog on Puerto Rico chips. Sometimes there is no profit in these undertakings, Jim..... they are a result of a deep love for the hobby. While my popular Atlantic City Catalog is very successful, and yes I've made a couple of bucks publishing it..... Puerto Rico is a very limited field of collecting with very little information on what is out there. It aiin't like Atlantic City! These catalogs will not be mass produced, they will be hand produced locally here in Brick, and I'm not sure that my cost will justify color illustrations. I'm trying to keep the price of the catalog under $10. I seriously doubt if there will be more than 50 copies sold as I don't know more than a dozen or so serious collectors of Puerto Rico chips. There is simply not enough interest to justify the color production expense; not to mention the hundred or so hours I've already spent in time laying out the pages and tables/charts. To date, I have 882 different chips listed from more than 50 casinos, 99.9% of them are in my own personal collection, (including a lot of roulettes..... and I've never been to Puerto Rico<g>) and the pages number around 45 at this point in time. I will welcome all input from all sources. Happy collecting to all...... Archie
