While preparing emails regarding another Bond Chip eBay lot (#17339613) in which the chips are being represented as real casino chips (appears to be an honest misunderstanding, in this case), I dragged my own Bond chips out of my plastic storage rack (for ease of rapid recovery in case of an attack of fondles) and rediscovered that there are only five chips in my set (presumably, I knew this, but had forgotten). Also pulled out my Paul-Son advertising flyer on the set (obtained from them about three years ago) -- it also shows only five chips (no $1000 chip in the set).

So, now I've had this horrible thought! Have I missed something? Is the $1000 chip truly rare? Am I going to have to pay $26.00 to complete my set?

Please, someone reassure me that I'm not cracking up. Have there been $1000 chips all along? Or are they a new addition to the set? Or were they discontinued? Why weren't they in the Paul-Son advertising of three years ago?
