Card Player Magazine is quite a popular piece of reading material in the card clubs and casinos of California. I don't know if that is the case in other parts of the country or in casino's that don't play poker as it is geared strictly to poker players.

Recently, they have adjusted their format and have included a classified section to the bi-monthly magazine, with rates at $1.00 per word for a minimum of $25.00 per issue. Being as they will allow only one e-mail address per ad, I propose the following to all concerned, but preferably to persons with whom I have traded with in the past (only because I know of their reliability.)

I would like to go in partnership with about (4) four other people, each contributing $25.00 (total $125.00 including my contribution) to place an ad in The Card Player for a total of (5) five editions. This would mean that it would cost each one of us $5.00 per issue.

The ad would be geared to people wanting to trade but have no idea that there are people such as us around or that a market even exist for old and new chips. When an inquiry is received each one of use would send the inquiror our trade list. We could alternate the e-mail address every issue and the person who receives the inquiry would let everyone else know about it. That way, no one will feel that he/she is being second choiced.

More people could be added if the group wishes. Anyone not wishing to participate with me may want to duplicate the idea for themselves or form their own group.
