Station Casinos is changing the old King 8 casino/hotel at Flamingo and Industrial (west of I-15) to something called the "Wild Wild West Gambling Hall Hotel."
Station Casinos takes over on July 1, and will immediately close the King 8. It will re-open under then new name on July 6.

I know a lot of you are hanging on to those purple chips from King 8, so you better go cash 'em in quick.

A follow up post averred that the chips were purple because of the grape jelly smeared on them by the truckers who play there [G].
