For over a decade, non-profit organizations such as Fire
Departments and other similar organizations were able to
operation legal "casinos" 2 days each week in the state of
Maryland. During the summer of 1997, this law changed and
these casinos were no longer able to operate.

Most of these Maryland casinos had very ordinary
"hotstamp" chips. The exception was Bladensburg, which used
beautiful Chipcos which each depicted a different fire
engine. While these casinos operated, for $8.50, you could
go to Bladensburg and add the 3 lowest denominations: $1,
$2.50 and $5 to your collection. Unless you wanted to invest $625, however, adding the 3 highest denominations to your collection...$25, $100, and
$500, wasn't possible.

I'm happy to be able to offer a limited number of
complete sets of 6 of these beautiful chips. At this time,
they will be priced at $59. Partial sets (lowest 3
denominations at $25 or highest 3 denominations at $40) or individual chips
