They are the little buggers that turn your potato chips soggy.
I once seen them attack the Nacho counter in a movie theatre.

If the problem persists, put your chips into zip locked freezer bags.
and buy you local meat plan that throws in the deep freeze. Those with larger collections may have to rent space at the local morgue
