Doug,

The Horseshoe Club in Gardena is by no means a fantasy. I wish it were, and I woke up from the dream, and got all the money back I lost way back in the late 60's to the early 80's. I do not remember the date, but the club shut down sometime in the Eighties and was converted to a strip center. Out of the six orginal clubs in Gardena, only the Normandy still exists. However, Larry Flint, the renoun publisher of Hustler Magazine bought the El Dorado Club in Gardena (just a block away from the old Horseshoe and existing Normandy Club) and is scheduled to reopen the card club this January with high stake poker games as its drawing card. He's putting a lot of money into it, redecorating, and from what I last heard is going to erect a luxury Hotel. He is a high stake poker player, $10.00 buy-in no limit games and playes with such personalities as Jerry Buss, the owner of the Laker, Forem and whatnot and other wealthy people.

As you might suspect, I don't know a heck of a lot about fantasy chips, but I am a little informed about the history of Gardena.
