The Chip Board King of Poker IV

Overview

The Chip Board Road to the World Series of Poker IV is a series of 20 NL Hold'em poker tournaments, held on Wednesday nights beginning 12/19/2007.

After each weekly tournament, the top 3 finishers will transfer part of their winnings to Greg Susong to be used for the overall tournament winners.

At the end of the 20 weekly tournaments, the player at the top of the leader board will have $220 transferred into their account. They will use that to enter the weekly Sunday tournament on PokerStars. They will keep 50% of whatever they win in that tournament, and the other 50% will be divided evenly between the next 8 players on the leader board.

On May 14th, 2008, the top 9 on the leader board will play in a $55 buy-in tournament. The winner of that will receive $1,500 to be used to enter one of the $1,500 NL Hold'em tournaments at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. If they win $10,000 or more in that event, they must use $10,000 to enter the World Series of Poker main event. If they win money in that event they keep 50% of what they win and the other 8 players at the final table on the 21st week split the other 50%.
