Funny how limit players are so different from no limit players, in regards to chips.

Many, many years ago Pechanga had a 10/20 Limit game that could never get off the ground.

$10 chips were used and it was not a popular game at all and rarely ran.

Then it was changed to 9/18 Limit (and later 8/16 Limit) and it quickly became one of the most popular tables in the poker room.

Limit players love to have huge stacks of $1 chips to play with, build towers, etc. and that was when I first discovered how important the psychology of chips are to poker players..
