Great stories Andy. I only visited Arlington Park twice, both times with my mother when I was a teenager. She never gambled at all and we were just going for something fun to do. The first trip she did not even know how to place a bet so she just for fun picked two horses for the daily double but did not bet them. Of course they both came in. On the second trip she actually place a $2 daily double bet and of course she won $98 when they both hit. This is from someone who did not know which end of the horse was the front much less how to read a tip sheet.
