According to Spragg's own statements, it's $1 million. But the collection was also being discussed as an $800,000 collection.

Here's an important distinction: Spragg never actually states $800,000 as the appraised value in the screenshots you've provided. That number appears in the discussion's title.
There are several possible explanations. The $800,000 figure might refer to a portion of the collection, an earlier estimate, or a different valuation. We don't have enough evidence to determine which.
But something else caught my attention.
On June 26, Spragg said:
"The club has received donations with an appraised value of approx $1m"

Notice he says donations, plural.
He also says the collection was donated specifically to populate club auctions and eBay sales for years to come.
Then, on June 27, he invokes IRS restrictions supposedly preventing disclosure or disposal for three years.
Those statements aren't necessarily contradictory, but they raise questions about which donations were restricted, when the restrictions expired, and what the actual Deeds of Gift required.
My conclusion: We have a documented claim of approximately $1 million in appraised donations, but no evidence here establishing the exact appraised amount or explaining the $800,000 figure.
And there's a much bigger question I'd pursue:
Where is the appraisal supporting that $1 million valuation, and was that amount ever reported in the CCA's financial statements or IRS Form 990?
