I just spent some time in Lake Tahoe and Reno. Here are some pictures of the Thunderbird Lodge and the Thunderbird Yacht on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe. A very wealthy fellow named George Whittell Jr. had it built and he owned almost all of the Nevada shoreline on Lake Tahoe - about 27 miles. The lodge is available for tours and it's worth it in my opinion. The last tour of the season is tomorrow and then it will be closed for the winter. If you are in the area next summer check it out.
