Many years ago someone (I forgot who) posted a fascinating story about when the Riata moved from their awesome inlay set to that ugly hotstamp ‘back-up’ set.

If memory serves there was a robbery, or something at the Riata, and the theives took off with a bunch of chips. The next day, or so, they went to their back-up set and didn’t allow redemption on the inlay chips.

I’m sure I have some facts wrong but that was the gist of it.
