I started going to Las Vegas in 1981, and most trips included a few days at the Plaza . We always tried to get a room on the 7th floor (the pool was on that floor), overlooking Fremont Street (long before the FSE messed up the view). Every trip I spent some time sitting in front of the window, looking out over Fremont Street, looking at Sunrise Mountain, watching traffic and people, and imagining the town the way it used to be.
