Regarding a recent post about an encased cent from
Zeke’s in Elko, I remember in the early 70s looking
around Elko for the place without much success. I
remember someone telling me there was a guy
(probably Zeke) who would pass these things out
on the street for some reason. Maybe he planned
to open a joint or just had a big ego. Anyway I
never hear of a Zeke’s and considered it just a
fantasy piece.

Interesting. I see it one eBay, the asking price is over the line for "amusing fantasy encased" just because it's Elko.

I lost my login again. (this time my computer lost all saved cookies and PWs for some reason) I'm working on it. I may just create and all new account, and start over with a minor variation. The BB insists on keeping my profile as an email address that I stopped using in around 2014. I have requested changes, but it's like a bad penny and keeps showing up, instead of my real email.
