Re: He was a friend and sad to see him go.

Al Madrid was one of the nicest most friendly people I’ve ever met.
When I was first starting off collecting I was sitting at the Coronado
Cafe and he was next to me. We starting talking and realized we were
both there for the Convention and he was helping Doug Saito with
set up and phone bids. He invited me to see the set up and gave me a
ride to the Gold Coast were we met Doug and he took us out to breakfast
at the buffet, which was a very good one. So not only Al but Doug were
very friendly and took me in. So we set up and I got a chance to view
the chips which at that time were some pretty nice ones.
So after that me and Al and Doug became friends.
Al kept in touch along with Doug.
Sad to see such a wonderful person pass, I will miss just knowing he is
no longer in this world spreading his good cheer and compassion.
Bless you Al !!!
