I grew up in Dallas (so Tex-Mex was the version there, like the combo meal you show). But I've been in So.Cal. for the past nearly 50 years, and there's some difference in Cali-Mex presentations. Both are great.

We used to travel from Orange County (home) down to Cafe Coyote in Old Town San Diego for good Mexican food, but it's been a few years now.
