A few days ago I made a post asking whether anyone had personally visited a chip maker, casino-supply company, or retail counter back in the day.
I have not received a response yet, and I honestly thought there might be someone here with a story or piece of information to share.
Many of you have been involved in this hobby much longer than I have. You have seen things, met people, visited places, bought chips directly from makers or suppliers, and collected knowledge that newer collectors like me simply do not have.
I am trying to preserve that history before it disappears. Even a small detail can matter: an approximate year, a location, a person you met, something you saw in a display case, a catalog, a price list, a receipt, a photo, or a story about how chips were sold.
If you have anything you are willing to share, please reply to my original post, "Visited a Chip Maker?", or send me a message privately. I would truly appreciate it.
