There are so many things I look forward to at the CCA convention. This Friday night Texas Hold 'em poker tournament is high on my list. This is just another fun reason to join the club; you must be a member or associate member to play. The Gene Trimble Memorial Poker Tournament took place at the CCA Convention on June 19th, 2026, at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas in their live poker room. A BIG thank you to David and Leslie Sowell for being the co-tournament directors who set up and dealt with the Poker Room. What a great time to sit next to another club member, whether you know them or not, and share stories and the good times. I also collected $10 from players who want to join a voluntary LAST LONGER list. I don't recall the exact number, but I estimate about 18. You get the $180 bonus if you are the last person playing on the Last Longer list. I took a few pictures, and I will let them speak for themselves. I am already looking forward to next year.
