The Redwood Bar & Grill

Menu rescued on 8-19-2016. Again...neither my husband nor I were the ones to rescue the menu. My outer denim shirt may or may not have played a part in the heist. The menu was later gifted to us, for our collection

For years, the Redwood Bar & Grill was one of our favorite restaurants...prime rib to die for, and the ambiance was classic old Las Vegas. The Redwood Bar & Grill was located in the California Hotel, so we headed over there for dinner on August 19, 2016. We discovered that The Redwood Bar & Grill was CLOSED!! The signs said that the restaurant was being remodeled, so it was temporarily located at the Main Street Station. We headed over there and had a delicious dinner.

On our next trip to Las Vegas, the remodel was complete. We had dinner there and we were disappointed. The new decor was nice, but it wasn't the classic old Las Vegas that we'd enjoyed at the old restaurant. The food was still good, but without the atmosphere there was something missing...
