Dice terms per GPI (Paulson & TK brands)
In Response To: Dice Color Question ()

Here's a couple of screen grabs from a GPI dice brochure - makers of Paulson brand and TK brand (formerly TK Specialty) casino dice.

In the first one you'll see dice colors, including Tangerine, Medium Red and Dark Red. I have marked samples of these 3 colors in actual dice. The tangerine is a lighter red with a tinge of orange.

In the second one, it refers to 2 finishes: Polished and Sand (or Sanded, sometimes).
I've seen these 2 terms used elsewhere too, but they seem to be synonymous to equivalent terms:
Polished = Smooth = Transparent or Translucent
Sand / Sanded = Matte or Frosted

Hope that helps grin
