I remember patronizing the Flame Room in the
60s and 70s when it was a hangout for club employees
and celebrities. The placed would be packed at 5:00 am.
It was demolished to make way for the Desert Inn
super arterial roadway in the 90s and re-opened in
a strip mall on Sahara ave and Maryland pky. It was
never the same and only lasted about a year.
