The V stands for Vera Cross who I talked to at her
trailer in Gerlach in the early 70s. She had two partners,
Walt (W) but couldn’t remember the other one (R). She
gave me an RVW chip and said one of the partners
took off with the bankroll one night pretty much putting
her out of business. I took this photo a few years ago
and I think the place is still open.
