…Loved the Sands. Before I moved here to Las Vegas in February 1980, I made lots of trips here in the 70’s. I would always make my way to the Sands during those trips.

Then I would continue to go there once I moved here. In the 90’s a very good friend of mine was the Casino Cage Manager up until when they closed in 1996. He helped me get racks of new uncirculated orange & blue $1 chips the night they closed.

I am probably the only one in this group who played in a major Pool Tournament there in 1993. The Last Call For 9-Ball.

Keep the articles coming, Jack! I am really enjoying them. 😊
