Unlike past years, where bidding was only conducted live, and you had to be a CCA Member to participate, bidding is now open to anyone, even non-CCA members. And you can bid from home!

That said, there is a rather substantial benefit to being a member in this auction because members get 5% off of the buyers premium. The savings from winning just $400 in auction items pays for half of an annual membership.

There are some special incentives for new members who join the club AND pre-register to attend the convention which could pay for the other half of a club membership.

Couple that with the benefits of receiving the club magazine, accessing members-only sections of our club's message boards, and of course access to all of the special (and very desirable) members-only features of our coveted Chip Guide (advanced search, collection and trade database lists).

While you're there, search the catalog and find at least 5 items you like and slap some bids on them. You CAN place a max value you're willing to pay or just hit the next increment to get some practice bids in.

Most lots start at only $5 so maybe practice on those just to get a feel for how the platform works.

Shipping is available AT COST for 2-day priority, plus a small handling fee ($10, no matter how many items you win).

Sales tax will be applied to all items picked up locally or shipped to a Nevada address, but not for items shipped out of state. Depending on how much you win, it might be cheaper to have things shipped back home, tax-free, than picking them up at the show.
