Well, the ballot deadline has come and now all that’s left to do is count the votes.

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the election process and took the time to cast a ballot. Regardless of the outcome, member participation is important and appreciated.

Over the past several weeks I’ve had the opportunity to speak with many members, exchange emails, answer questions, and have some really enjoyable conversations about the hobby and the future of the club. I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to reach out and share their thoughts and perspectives.

One thing this process reminded me of is how passionate people are about the CCA and this hobby. Whether your interest is chips, tokens, sets, history, memorabilia, the convention, or simply the friendships that come from being part of the club, that shared passion is what keeps this organization strong.

Thank you again to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make this another successful club election process.

Now we wait for Doug to do the hard part.
