2026 Bruce Landau Auction is LIVE! (sort of)

Hey everyone. I just published the CCA's auction to HiBid.com. It's currently in preview mode. Live bidding is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday 5/18 but there's still some cleanup and debugging that needs to take place, so I might push the start off another day or two, depending on everyone's feedback. This is my first time setting up an auction of this type/size so your patience and understanding (and help) is greatly appreciated.

Over the weekend, please review everything about the auction that you can: terms & conditions, format, buyer premiums (there are multiple BPs ranging from 20% down to 10% that depend on whether you're a CCA member, pay cash, etc), item titles and descriptions, images.

Also, please go ahead and register for the auction. Because we don't want to get stiffed by people with no intention to pay, I'm requiring a $1 pre-auth on a valid credit card to register. Hopefully that doesn't turn anyone away.

If you find any issues, send email to auction@ccgtcc.com (it goes to me). If you prefer to talk rather than type, email me your phone number and I'll call you.

I still have 20-40 items to add to the 180 or so that are there currently, so check back over the weekend to see what's new (there's some really cool artwork coming).

The Big Day!

On Thursday, June 18, we go LIVE with a webcast to start the live portion of the auction. We have 2 auctioneers that will be discussing the items and amping up the bidders. Bidding starts at whatever the highest online bid is.

This auction is no longer restricted to CCA members that are in the rooml. It's going global so we'll have bidders from all over the world. All items can be shipped (fees apply). The biggest savings is if you are a CCA member (you can join right before the auction begins!), come to the convention, attend the auction in person, win items bidding live (not on the app), and pay cash. That gets you the lowest 10% buyer's premium. Non-CCA members who bid online and pay by credit card get the highest BP of 20%, but that's pretty standard in the auction world these days, so it shouldn't scare anyone away.

What are you waiting for? The next chapter of this novel? GO! Go register and view the items up for bid. Let me know what flaws need to be corrected. And help support the CCA by bidding everything up and winning it!

Thanks!
