Unless I'm missing something, this eBay listing doesn't make economic sense.
The seller seems to have disassembled a bunch of Silver Strikes. Salvaged the silver (melted or ?). And now is offering the cut & deformed brass rings (2 pounds worth) for sale. At brass spot prices, that's about $4 worth of brass.
The asking price, plus $12 shipping, is about $50. Plus some sales tax.
Any takers?
