According to information on the internet, the Cinnabar
originally operated from 1940 to 1946 at 105 S. 1st street
and 122 N. 2nd street from 1947 to 1961. It opened as the
Sinabar at 111 E. Ogden in 1972 and was bought by Bob
Stupak in 1974. He later operated it as the Vault and Jennie V’s.
I remember it was briefly called the Alligator at one time and
had a large glass panel in the ceiling etched with a lady and
the date 1937 that matched ads from the Bank Club in Reno.
