Las Vegas day 43
Las Vegas day 43 () The Jolly Trolley continued the topless bar tradition behind the curtain and I remember them advertising Marilyn Chambers appearing there towards the end of her career. At one time they were supposed to build an all-poker casino across Sahara Ave from there, one of the few ideas not yet tried in Vegas, but it never came to fruition. Whenever I stayed at the Sahara, I used to hang out at that area. It was a little sleazy, but fun. I recall a peep show was there at one time, as well as a small slot joint called ‘The Quarter Corner Casino’. Foxy’s was across the street, and a place called ‘Tommy B’s Casino’ was a couple of blocks down the boulevard towards Circus Circus. They sold liquor by the bottle there, and at the cash register they had postcards of the place for free. I used to take one each time I was there, but they have been lost to time.
