We decided to go back to St. Louis this week. I looked around to find a casino to stay at but Casino Queen still had the best rate ($100 per nite less than Horseshoe across the river) and is just across the river from the arch. I decided to check and see if I had any offers. Strangely enough my monthly online offer book said I had some free play, a little money for food and.... two free nites. HUH?? I am a reasonably low stakes player and play BJ and video poker. OK I figured I would take advantage of it. We were going to stay 3 nites so I figured we would have to pay for the last one. When ordering to room she said it is all comped. HUH??? When we got there my player card would not work so I got a new one and for some reason they gave me the superstar version which I think is the second highest. HUH??? I have no idea how the 500 points that I earned the last trip got me superstar status (need 100,000-250,00 points) but I am not complaining. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess.
