
() I patronized this place often in the 70s. The bar was actually
a showcase with no place to put your knees so you had to
sit sideways. The live games had been removed with only a
few slots remaining. I got the guy’s name who had the chips
but when I knocked on his door and inquired about them he
slammed the door in my face. The bartender told me at one
time the second floor was a brothel and the cribs were still
there. The Silver Club was next door and Karl Berge bought
the joint and razed it for parking. I never did get all the chips.
