Looks like lead to me. I doubt it’s real. Many years ago, when slot machines took and dispersed coins, I used to have a deal with a couple of casinos to take their bent and disfigured coins for half of face value. I then forwarded them to the Mint for a 100% profit. Eventually, they started giving me counterfeit coins and gaming tokens for free just because they wanted to get rid of them and they trusted me not to put them back in the machines. I couldn’t do anything with them, but kept taking them because I didn’t want to jeopardize my deal to get old, valueless chips and bent coins. I eventually wound up with bags of counterfeits, most of which I still have. I started a collection which includes a phony penny (yes, you read that right) all the way up to a counterfeit Ike Dollar, and many lead dollar gaming tokens.
