Hello Fellow CCA Members!
Here is the final information for our memberships that were set to expire at the end of the 1st quarter of this year.
Of the 105 total memberships that were due to renew (95 regular and 10 associate):
- 75 have renewed
- 3 communicated that they are not renewing and
- 27 members did not respond to multiple messages sent via email, postcard and phone calls.
This reflects a 71% renewal rate.
Below is a picture that shows the number of memberships expiring (categorized by how long they have been a CCA Member under their current membership number).
Each colored box represents a membership - GREEN indicates they have renewed, LIGHT RED indicates they have not yet renewed & DARK RED indicates they have communicated that they are not renewing.
The good news is that in Quarter 1, thanks to the recruiting efforts of people like Dan Madrigrano, Barry Sherwood and many others, we had a net increase of 22 members!
(52 New Members less the 30 members that I set Inactive today due to non-renewals)
I am going to try to continue improving our retention rates in the future and am working on implementing a few things that I am sure will help.
1. Incentivizing members who are attending the convention to confirm the data we have for them on the membership database, including adding telephone numbers where possible.
(More details about this in the coming weeks).
2. We are investigating the capability to have a RECURRING option available for the PayPal payments.
This may help those people who want to continue their CCA Membership indefinitely, but sometimes don't realize when their expiration date arrives.
Based on a suggestion from someone to one of my earlier posts, I will monitor the 27 people who did not renew yet; and as they renew, I will segment those numbers in my future membership number posts.
As always, I welcome any suggestions or comments.
Thanks!
-- Mike
