It was the roulette felt and chip display at Harvey's in South Lake Tahoe... It had a bunch of old casino chips on the line intersecting the layout, framed and hanging on the wall. We used to vacation there in the late 60's and early 70's and see it on the way to their buffet. At the same time, Harrah's used to have a vintage vehicle swap meet. My dad would drag us to that, but they also had collectibles. I found an old Toyabe Club chip there....and we were off! I even asked customer relations at Harvey's if they would send me a roulette felt thinking I would do the same thing. They did send a blackjack felt. Then met Howard Herz and Dean Richmond and the rest is an obsession.
