Since I took the reigns as the Membership Officer after the convention last year, I have been trying hard to get accurate information so we understand where our members come from and what benefits they value as part of the membership in our great club.

As part of this effort, when a new member signs up, one of the questions they are asked is where they heard about the club.

While not every new member responds to the questions, and certainly these responses don't necessarily mean that is exactly why they joined, I think it is fair to infer that when someone responds with "The ChipGuide" that it is an indication that having full access to the features of the ChipGuide is a compelling reason behind them joining.

In my update posts for the Recruiter of the Year, in addition to all of the individuals who are listed as a referring member, I include those other areas, including the ChipGuide, to try to help communicate where our new members are originating. As you can see below, as of the last update 10 new members indicated the ChipGuide.
