They aren't really Arrowdie (arodie) mold chips, just ceramic chips with printing to replicate an arodie mold design.
I think they're just a home game set, and it's nice that they're plainly marked as Commemorative & open & close dates, so as not to confuse with the real thing.

I don't think Borland ever used ceramics, or had access to making them while he was alive.
