Hi Dawson! Thanks for continuing to lurk. I do hope you decide to join the club. Unfortunately, I would not be in favor of letting you have your dad's old number as I feel they are (or should be) tied to the individuals that originally have them. One exception I can think of is for corporate memberships (yes, we have those). Those are much higher priced, but they would go with "the company" as it were, even if it were to change hands.
Let's get YOU signed up with your very own unique, custom ID number so you can start your own legacy. 100 years from now, people will be saying things like "Man, do you remember member number R-XXXX? That was one cool dude! I think his name was Dawson. What an exceptional member of the CCA. They were so lucky to have him be part of their organization."
You'll never know if people will be singing your praises as a CCA member unless you join and that's a fact.
P.S. Be sure to put me down as your referring member so I will only have a dozen more signups to go to catch up with Dan Madrigrano, recruiter-of-the-quarter
