Hey Andy. If anyone can speak on Greg's behalf, it would be his close friends, which you were definitely one. (I miss that jolly fellow!)

Just a couple of comments that I think are getting lost. The ChipGuide as Greg made it is still completely functional to anyone - member or not. Without logging in, you still see the map, can drill down to any casino and have access to all the "stuff" listed. Just as Greg created.

The functions that are for CCA members only are the new functions that the club has built over the years - Trade Maker, My Collection, List Manager, etc.

The one item that seems to give people the biggest heartburn is the "search function". That is currently listed under the "members only" function. Should that be free for all? Maybe. I assume the BOD is doing some analysis to see how beneficial the changes have been. I do know we have gotten feedback from some new members saying the CG changes has been the tipping point causing them to finally join.

Turning the advanced functions of the Chip Guide to members-only is not going to solve the club's financial issues all by itself. The feedback I most often get from non-members is "Why should I join?" This is just one of the benefits that was implemented to try to help.

I also knew Greg quite well, and I think he would be hesitant to put anything behind a membership wall, but if he knew it was helping the club he loved, maybe he would say the ends justify the means.
