Has the Club/Chipboard considered the model that most on-line newspapers have?

Most on-line newspapers offer 1-3 free articles. After which, you must pay a subscription fee.

That seems like a viable model so the new chipper can begin to use the Chipguide for free, and after they reach the maximum number of free views they would then need to pay a subscription, ie. Club membership, to continue..
