There’s no need to turn these positive recruitment numbers into anything negative.

Also, don’t second-guess the order in which things are being done in the club or at the board level. None of us are going to stop making the improvements. We’ve already started just to switch gears toward recruitment. Besides, most of these changes should result in a more appealing club, which will result in new memberships.

Recruitment is an ongoing effort, and hopefully one that is being done by everyone in the club. Like many others who are reading this, I’m super excited to see what numbers you’re going to put up this year. Your level of enthusiasm for a new member recruitment has always paid off in the past, and I’m sure you are holding back and sandbagging right now in order to jump into the number one spot and steal the first place trophy from Dan.

That would be quite an accomplishment, and I’m not sure Dan would be disappointed to end up in second place. If nothing else, it might start an annual Battle of the Big League Recruiters.

Anyway, please dial down the negative comments. They are out of place, uninformed, and do not help the club in anyway. Best of luck with your recruiting.
