Thank you for your post Bob. For the record, I was not the club President at the time of this occurrence. My 11-year term of office as club President was 1988-1999. I don't recall the exact year of the incident you referred to, but it was during one of Sheldon Smith's terms as Convention Chair (2015-2017) during Doug Smith's term of office as President. Brenda Black was the Registration Chair at the time and she left the Registration Desk temporarily to attend the ladies' luncheon and left me in charge of the registration desk along with Steve Miller (current club magazine editor) in her absence. Brenda has served on the Registration Committee for 30 years (25 years as Registration Chair) and we followed registration instructions given to us by the elected Boards.
