Reno day 138
Reno day 138
() The Wine House was owned by the Frankovich
family for almost 100 years. It was closed by the
time I got to Reno but I remember the space was
used as a dealer’s room for Harolds Club. It was
mostly a restaurant and bar in the later years. The
photo shows a 1936 Buckley Track Odds horse race
machine. I remember playing one like it at Honest
John’s in Las Vegas in 1967. One of the ceiling
medallions was put over the entrance to the Comstock
Hotel when it was built.
