Re: Town House "The Riding Lesson"

Just to add to the mystery which I may be over questioning.

The Library in CA has the ID on this as... B4495 also, which is unusual?

Creator
Burton Frasher Sr. 1888-1955
Date Created and/or Issued
1936
Publication Information
Pomona Public Library
Contributing Institution
Pomona Public Library
Collection
Frasher Foto Postcard Collection

Type
image
Format
13 x 7.5 cm.
Identifier
http://ark.cdlib.org/ark:/13030/kt696nc67x
B4495
Language
English

But I accept the most reasonable version of the original artist:

Year ca. 1936
Creator Robert Caples
Credit Special Collections, University of Nevada, Reno Libraries
Which has the catalog number in the lower right as B4495

Why would two collections have the same catalog number? Reno Libraries has that number in the lower right of the image.

Can I go off into complete conjecture and hypothesis? No foundation in fact, or evidence. What if, Caples made this drawing for Frasher? I accept that it's a stretch. But how did the Caples art, end up on the Frasher card, with the same date and ID number?
