Bill Borland got into trouble with the CC>CC club over those chips with the inlays. While he never admitted making the hotstamped chips, he was selling these openly in his ads. I recall sitting in his office on Reno Ave, and him telling me he was being threatened with expulsion. It bothered him. He said, “How can anyone think that these were casino used chips, when they have the opening and closing dates on them?”.
