() Just my 2 cents --
I like the BP grid, from 10% to 20%, depending on the factors you show. I assume all the bidders will know in advance which %age applies to them and that the software does the calculating. The 3% difference for cash (including check, I assume) vs. credit card equalizes the net proceeds to CCA, which is fair, IMO.
As to # of lots, I suggest 20 lots (or up to 30) in the silent auction. Show floor bidders only & closes at 4pm when show closes that day. Same process as before.
And for live lots, we had 180 lots last year & the live bidding session ended in just over 3 hours, I think. That 1 lot per minute average + 15 minute break in the middle. Start at 7pm +/- and end around 10:30 pm +/-. You could add up to 20 more live lots, IMO, and have it max out at 200 live lots, but I think they ALL should be part of the live auction. No carryover online-only lots at the end. Instead, structure the lots at the end of the auction to build to a crescendo with the last few being in-demand chips, so bidders have incentive to stick around to the end (or at least leave a proxy bid).
If all this works out well, then consider another HiBid online-only auction in another 3-6 months with additional items coming out of the storage unit?
Again, those are just a few ideas to consider.
